Hi,

My name is Mary Lynn Cameron and I am the proud owner of gordons Ladies Wear in the Amherst Centre Mall. Early in the 8o’s my husband, Gordon, and I embarked on our retail venture. This was a new experience for me as I had pursued a career in teaching. We purchased a retail business in Parrsboro, a small town near Amherst. At that time we sold family clothing. This was a successful business for ten years and we enjoyed our time in that area. In the meantime we opened stores in Amherst and Sackville. Following the closure of the stores in Parrsboro and Sackville we narrowed our focus to create a ladies wear shop and Amherst was the perfect location. This is what we do best, and this is where we have been the most successful.

We are thrilled to be able to say we have been in business over twenty-six years. Our success is due to our staff who provide expert knowledge and exceptional customer service and to our loyal customers who come from all over the Maritimes and beyond. Many of our customers have shopped with us since we opened. Many have discovered us in recent years. We are most appreciative of their support. I take great pride in choosing the clothing and accessories for our very special ladies.
